We are continuing to take all precautions and we hope to meet YOU (at a distance, smiling behind our masks) at one of our small privately owned and operated establishments. We have learned a lot about how to keep our guests, employees and families safe during this new era and we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we all work together.
The following reasons are why we consider that our establishments are safer and will make you feel more comfortable staying with us:
As small lodging enterprises, we have limited traffic compared to hotels in terms of guests.
Our Individual properties have unique characteristics that you may prefer to hotels for safety reasons.
Following protocols set by global, national, and local health authorities, we have heightened our already rigorous cleaning and disinfection procedures, and introduced supplemental preventative measures to guarantee the highest levels of hygiene and safety.
As B&B hosts we live in our inns (state law), so we obviously have a high priority on keeping the accommodations clean and safe for guests as well as ourselves.
Each innkeeper has their personal safety strategies concerning serving of coffee, breakfast, etc.
Most of our properties have 5 or fewer guest rooms, all have private baths or shared only with traveling companions.
Some rooms/suites have private entrances for individual suites (Thomas Farm, Enfield Manor, Tenwood Lodge, Mary Hunt House, Grayhaven Motel)
Alternatively our self-contained Vacation Rentals are an excellent choice for couples, families and people traveling in small groups, providing more privacy as well as the option to eat in, using fully-equipped kitchens. As of Nov 13, limits to occupancy are 10 people in the larger homes.
Our newest member property, the Grayhaven Motel, begins its 3rd season under the transformative new ownership of an energetic, enthusiastic couple. Its minimalistic mid-century vibe features clean, spacious rooms with private entrances and several accommodations include full kitchens, including 2 with adjoining living rooms. This is not a B&B, but you can enjoy the opportunity to purchases wine & beer onsite.
Please do not hesitate to contact our individual property owners if you have specific questions.
